7Dec09: Rural Tourism for farms

Are you a farm that has diversified into tourism or do you have any farms in your community that have diversified into tourism?

Throughout 2009 and 2010 CoaST, in partnership with Duchy College, will be running a series of events in Cornwall and beyond, specifically tailored for farms that have diversified (or are thinking about it!) into tourism.

The next events are:
Rural Tourism - Farm Trail Events
Would you like to know how to set up your own Farm Trail? What features on your farm would be of interest to tourists? Would you like to promote better habitat management?
Or perhaps you already have a trail and would like ideas on how to improve it?

To be held at:
Monday 7th December 2009; Tredinney Farm, West Penwith, Cornwall
From 10.00am - 3.00pm
and Wednesday 16th December 2009; South Penquite Farm, Blisland, Bodmin, Cornwall

Lunch and Refreshments will be provided.
There will be the opportunity to have a guided walk around a farm trail in the afternoon
(optional and weather dependant - make sure you wrap up warm).
£15. *Eligibility rules apply
£30 if non eligible. To check eligibility please contact the Rural Business School on Rural Tourism - Farm Trail Event
