The website has two new sections:

Offered for sale of barter: http://www.transitionnc.org/?q=node/102
and
Wanted to buy or barter: http://www.transitionnc.org/?q=node/103

Use these sections to offer to buy or sell (or barter) anything you are looking for or want to get rid off - not just items, but also services or simply manpower. For instance, at our farm there is always plenty of work to do and we are happy to offer our fresh meat boxes in return for your labour. Not everyone's cup of tea, but its a quick and cheap way of getting some excellent organic beef or lamb.

We are looking into the possibility of establishing a LETS scheme (see http://www.transitionnc.org/?q=node/95/306#comment-306 ), a kind of generalised bartering scheme - to get away from cash, inflation and taxes. I thought these two new sections may start the ball rolling. Have a look.

And finally, thanks to all those wonderful people who have contributed to my election expenses. I am still about £200 short, so if you support getting Transition on to the County Council and/or support MK, any contribution would be most welcome. Thanks in advance

Good luck
