Go Jute

We at Go Jute have recently expanded our business to include new products and new people. Our sales team has been strengthened by the addition of David Hyslop, who has worked in sales in the bag industry for the past 7 years. With this exciting addition to our team we have decided to increase our product range to include more lines from our GoPromo range (see case study below ‘Working with Unicef’).
With the sun finally making an appearance, we thought that it would be the perfect time to launch our new product, which is the branded Organic cotton windbreak! Find out how to put your orders in for next year by reading below.

As ever, catch up on our latest products and stories from Cornwall, via our Twitter feed and have your say on the Go Jute Facebook page. If you are on LinkedIn, you can recommend our products to your colleagues and associates.

WINDBREAKS- The most innovative and unique way to advertise

Go Jute have just launched the environmental promotional windbreak. Using 100% Organic cotton and FSC wooden poles including recycled rubber caps, we can now offer you the chance to promote your company, brand or message on the most ideal platform.

Not just restricted to the summer months, our windbreaks are robust enough to be used at festivals, music gigs and promotional events, the perfect way to display your brand to an audience at their most relaxed!
Up until now, we have only been taking orders for this summer because the demand has been (and continues to be) so high. Both the Go Jute team & our machinists have been working round the clock so as not to disappoint our clients. As of today however, we can now take your pre-orders for next year! In a multitude of colours and patterns, we can print your logo and strap line so that it’s visible to the thousands.

Call or email us now to make your order! 01726 75553 info@gojute.co.uk

Newquay Zoo souvenir bag

As well as being a great family day out, Newquay Zoo is an educational and scientific conservation charity dedicated to protecting global wildlife heritage and inspiring in its many visitors a life long respect for animals and the environment. We supplied and printed jute bags to Newquay Zoo, which they retail in their shop for people looking for a practical souvenir.

Crabby Old Bag!

We were delighted to work with a local seafood specialist ‘Cadgwith Cove Crab’ in the gorgeous seaside village of Cadgwith Cove. They wanted a quirky bag to sell in their newly renovated shop. “I’m a Crabby Old Bag” mini jute bag is sure to make their customers smile and is the perfect size to take their fresh shellfish home in!

We design too..

With our newly appointed in-house designer, we can offer a free design service for any product you order with Go Jute. Pop in or give us a call to discuss options and styles!

Working with Unicef

We recently worked very closely with the world-renowned charity Unicef, in producing promotional goods that were used for the 'Soccer Aid' event back in May. The charity continues to raise funds throughout the year and have now raised £4.5 million for children!

It's harvest season

Our jute is grown in India, it’s a rainy season crop, sown from March to May and then harvested from July to September once their flowers have been shed. When 12 feet high, the plants are cut with sickles. The stems are then made up into bundles for steeping in water. Extraction on preparation of jute fibres involves the traditional method of ‘retting’. During this simple, yet skilled process, jute fibre is loosened with wooden mallets before being carefully washed and dried in the sun. The dried jute fibres are then graded by quality before being baled and sent to our manufacturers ready for weaving into jute bags. The whole process is labour intensive but non polluting and does not consume vast amounts of fossil fuels.

We are very proud to now have 36 machinists working to help keep up with the demand for GoJute products. A member of our team visits the factories throughout the year to ensure our strict legal and ethical standards are maintained during every step of the process, from seed to bag!
