Only £5 a session, materials supplied. 10.30-12 in the Long Room @ the Centre … limited places … book at reception. Funds raised will be divided between the Community Centre and Transition Lostwithiel

PHILI-KNITS
We had our huge lovely, proper cream tea and knitting is now underway creating our exclusive and unique designs…. if you have any unwanted buttons please drop them into the Community Centre and we will make good use of them.

MUSIC QUIZ
Friday May 30th, 7.30pm, Music Quiz with Gary. Pasty and ice cream in interval. £6 entry for teams of 4. Book at reception by 28th May for catering.

Great news from the Community Centre... @ café now offering culinary delights:
Cakes for special Occasions & proper cream teas with splits... to order or takeaway ring 872207
Kernow Forno will be firing up the wood oven Monday evenings outside the Centre 5-8 freshly making pizzas in front of you .. @ the café is also open for teas/coffee and cake
Introducing VEGGIE Saturday lunches .. great vegetarian food from @ the Café.

HELPING OTHERS AND THE ENVIRONMENT
There is now a red collection container outside the Centre for the British Heart Foundation for clothes, shoes, handbags, books, CDs, DVDs, toys and bric-a-brac.

NOT SUCH GOOD NEWS
The Post Office has decided to hold a Public Consultation to move our Post Office to be part of Londis .. this is partly due to the Post Office requiring a retail outlet these days .. copies can be picked up at the Post Office in Queen Street or at the Community Centre.

Library times of opening are changing in June.. details at the Community Centre or the Library and will be published in the newsletter and at the Community Centre.

WHY GROW YOUR OWN SALAD LEAVES?
Because research has shown that the bags of mixed leaves have a very low amount of vitamins left because of the gas used to ensure a long shelf life .. so grow your own on a window ledge or in the garden .. you can have salad leaves all year round even in an unheated greenhouse.
