15Jan2015: RADICAL LAND REFORM - who owns this Earth?

RADICAL LAND REFORM - who owns this Earth?

Thursday, January 15 at 7:00pm
Room 210, Roland Levisnky building, Plymouth university
Invited by Transition Plymouth

A public discussion.

How does rising inequality drive climate change? Why are we getting poorer every year and how is that related to private ownership of land?
Is it moral for a human being to charge a fellow human being money to simply live on this earth?
Who does the land REALLY belong to?
Is it time and do we have the courage to challenge the private ownership of land?
Are there any alternatives for sharing this bountiful earth?
Come and share together ideas, proposals, questions about this important topic, towards the land conference on March 21st: http://landconferencedevon.co.uk/

The TRANSITION DISCUSSIONS are horizontal public discussions, on the THIRD THURSDAY of every month (excluding holidays), that explore themes related to Transition, including polemic ones.

If you have any suggestion of topics for future discussions, please get in touch with Transition Education group: tp.educationgroup@gmail.com
