27Mar2014: Tourism in the South West

Tourism in the South West, post the media storm

Thursday 27th March, 0930-1300, Woodbury Park Golf Club

This meeting will bring together key figures in the tourism industry to update tourism businesses about what is happening after the storms and flooding and the subsequent media coverage. Tourism leaders will be letting you know what is being done to get bookings moving again, both nationally and regionally.

The damage to road and rail has energized the debate about transport resilience to the South West, so we will be hearing about progress on rail links, the A303, and future investment in the region from the Heart of the South West LEP. There will be ample opportunity for questions and networking.
