21Mar2012: Free Mayday webinar the food sector

The food and drink sectors face a tough challenge, to grow more food with less impact on the environment

As a Mayday business either producing, selling or buying vast quantities of food and drink you no doubt already understand the complexities of growing and procuring natural products that have less impact on the environment.

This month’s Mayday webinar, 3pm on 21st March, is delivered by our partner Natural England, the Government's adviser on the natural environment. It will highlight how Environmental Stewardship, the Government's green farming scheme, can help companies embed and measure biodiversity in their supply chains.

There will be case studies on Sainsburys and from Ian Burgess, Head of Co-operative Food’s Technical Team.

There will also be opportunity to ask questions to the speakers during the webinar and online to all delegates via linkedin after the session.
